Ο Μάριος Παναγίδης προσλήφθηκε στο Τμήμα Λογιστικής και Χρηματοοικονομικής στη θέση του Αναπληρωτή Καθηγητή το 2018. Τα προηγούμενα χρόνια διετέλεσε ακαδημαϊκό μέλος στα χρηματοοικονομικά στο Katz Graduate school of Business του University of Pittsburgh (2012-2018) και στο David Eccles School of Business του University of Utah (2004-2012). Επίσης, το 2015 ήταν επισκέπτης ερευνητής στο Bocconi University. Κατέχει πτυχίο από το Oxford University και διδακτορικό τίτλο από το Yale University. Profile Information

Marios Panayides joined the department of Accounting and Finance as an associate professor in finance in 2018. Prior to that, he was a finance faculty member of the Katz Graduate school of Business at the University of Pittsburgh from 2012-2018, and a finance faculty member of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah from 2004-2008. Marios was also a visiting professor at Bocconi University in Italy in 2015. He has a PhD from Yale University and a Bachelor’s degree from Oxford University. His research interests include market microstructure, market efficiency, econometric techniques, and industrial organization. His work has appeared in top finance journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Journal of Financial Intermediation, and has been presented at numerous finance conferences. He was awarded the best paper award at the Multinational Finance Society Meetings in 2015 and Financial Management Association Annual Meeting in 2009. He also has multiple teaching awards both at the undergraduate and graduate levels (MBA).
