Η ερευνητική του δραστηριότητα επικεντρώνεται στους τομείς της διεθνής χρηματοοικονομικής, εμπειρικής αποτίμησης κεφαλαιουχικών αγαθών, ολοκλήρωσης διεθνών χρηματοοικονομικών αγορών, και αναδυόμενων χρηματοοικονομικών αγορών, cross-listing, και information disclosure and corporate governance. Η έρευνα του δημοσιεύθηκε σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά όπως το Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, το Journal of Business, το European Financial Management Journal, το Journal of Corporate Finnace και το Journal of Business Finance and Accounting. Έχει διδάξει στο Northwestern University - Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Lecturer of Finance) και στο Tulane University – A. B. Freeman School of Business (Assistant Professor of Finance). His research focuses on International Finance, Empirical Asset Pricing, Investments and Fund Management, International Capital Market Integration and Investment Barriers, Cross-Listing, Information Disclosure, Closed-End Funds and Limits to Arbitrage. His work has been published in international academic journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Business, the Journal of Corporate Finance, the European Financial Management Journal, and the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting. Prior to joining the University of Cyprus he was a Lecturer at Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University (USA) and Assistant Professor at A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University (USA). He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Training and HR Technical Committee of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Makrasyka-Larnaca-District of Famagusta Co-operative Credit Society Ltd and President of the Provident Fund Management Committee of Makrasyka-Larnaca-District of Famagusta Co-operative Credit Society Ltd.  He also served on the Board of Directors of KERMIA LTD and KERMIA PRORERTY INVESTMENTS LTD.
