Students enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. degree must complete 80 ECTS in postgraduate courses from the table below and attend the Postgraduate Seminar series of the Department (BIO 800-803) for at least four semesters.

Incoming students who already hold a Master’s degree in a relevant scientific area can be exempted from taking courses wholly or in part.

Students can choose to perform their doctoral research in one of the Departmental Research Laboratories in consultation with the heads of each lab.
