Philemon Bantimaroudis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cyprus. Prior to his current appointment, he was a Professor in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean (Greece). He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, U.S.A. (1999). He was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Northern Michigan University, U.S.A. (1999-2000), the University of Cyprus (2012-2013, fall 2016), an Academic Visitor at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, U.K. (2008) and a Visiting Professor at Wheaton College, U.S.A. (2017-2018). His primary research interests are focused on media theory with secondary applications in culture and politics. | |
