SHAUNNA IOANNIDOU
Undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon (B.A., 1984), graduate studies at the University of Stuttgart (M.A. Linguistics and German Language/Literature, 1987). She taught at the University of Stuttgart Language Center (1991-1994) concentrating in the area of Academic Essay Writing and the TOEFL exam . She also presented at the TESOL 2005 conference in San Antonio, TX “Confronting Racism With a Dream” an in depth analysis of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s speech I Have A Dream in reflection to Peace and Intercultural Awareness studies in EFL. Current interests include Computer Assisted Language Learning, Public Speaking in EFL/ESL classroom and materials development. PhD. candidate at department of Educational Research at Lancaster University, U.K.
